A short report to describe how work with teacher prognoses in Sweden is carried out.
Sammanfattning 2: This short report is an attempt to describe how work with personnel prognoses is carried out in Sweden. It is done in three ways, first, via a general description of the work, secondly, by presenting the calculation models used and thirdly, by presenting the findings of the most recent prognosis. It covers some 55 percent of the teachers in upper secondary school and upper secondary adult education and refers to teachers in subjects like history, biology, mathematics, Swedish, and modern languages. From the example, it is clear what assumptions were made and what effect alternative assumptions would have had on the calculations. Furthermore, the example shows how the results are presented
