National evaluation of the compulsory school in 2003
This study presents the background to the development of the compulsory school in the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s, and provides a description of the structure and implementation of the evaluation and thereafter a summary of the most important results.
Sammanfattning 2: The national evaluation of the compulsory school in 2003 has been initiated by the National Agency for Education to obtain a picture of developments in the compulsory school during the 1990s, a decade which has been characterised by a large number of reforms in the school area. In some cases it has been possible to make comparisons with the situation in 1992, when the first major national evaluation of the compulsory school was carried out.
